SEAK Adventure Terms & Conditions

PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP

SEAK (Southeast Alaska) Adventure does its best to provide you with all pertinent information for your tour or class. All of our day paddles and tours include the most necessary gear like PFD’s, Whistles, Paddles, spray skirts, and flashlights (for the WWII Bunker Tour only). Our kayaking training courses are also inclusive of kayaks and basic gear, with the exception of the Level 3 parts 1 and 2 courses and assessments, however, we will work with you on what equipment you will need for that specific class whether it is a Special Courses or an ACA class.

Most of the Day Paddles and Tours are suitable for beginners: however, some are more physically intensive than others. It is important to understand how the physical requirements will affect the enjoyment of your paddle. Weather, including wind, waves, and swell have a great effect on if or when we are able to paddle. If you are unsure if the weather will be safe to paddle in, or what the physical needs for the paddle will be, or if you are unsure of the best dates and times to schedule your paddle, please contact us and we will be happy to walk you through what to expect when you arrive in Sitka, Alaska.
