Refine Your Skills and Knowledge to Kayak on Rougher Waters

In this advanced-level Rough Waters class, prepare to put your paddling skills and knowledge to the test on some wilder waterways in Sikta. This third class of our 3-part Special Kayak Training Courses concludes at a different venue with slightly more unpredictable water conditions, where you’ll have the opportunity to exercise the skills you acquired in the Calm Waters and Choppy Channels segments of this course.

This final class is suitable for beginners and advanced kayakers alike, however, we recommend participation in the previous two classes (Calm Waters and Choppy Channels) for absolute kayaking novices to ensure you are up to speed on kayaking skills and knowledge before taking on this higher difficulty level on rougher waterways. In case you’re looking for more intensive kayak training for which the complete ACA curriculum is taught, check out our American Canoe Association Kayak Courses.

Why Choose This Course?

Put your knowledge to the test in this last segment of our 3-parter special course, as you paddle on rougher waters that will elevate your stress levels and push the limits of your foundational skills.

At this advanced level you’ll start feeling more confident in your paddle abilities.

Receive valuable feedback from your instructor upon completion of the course, so you have a better understanding of your progress and kayak skill level.
